Work off your Christmas Party with this.

Work off your Christmas Party with this.

My trainer Maree can be brutal at times. Today, 8 girls innocently turned up to their Friday workout, unaware of what lay ahead. The 100 Club.

It’s a club she makes us all join and consists of having to do 100 reps of 10 different exercises. Sometimes we’re allowed to do 5 sets of 20 reps of each exercise, but no such luck today. If we wanted a break/recovery at any stage we were allowed to do a shuttle run. I did a couple of shuttle runs during the thrusters, iron cross and burpees sets, though it was more like a shuttle stagger by the end.

Maree said she hoped it would make up for any sins we’d committed that week. I don’t see how it couldn’t, we were too exhausted to even speak to each other by the end of it.

Here are some demos if you’d like to join the club.
Shuttle Run
High 5 with a friend
Dead Lift
Box Jumps
Medicine Ball Slams
Full Sit Up
Iron Cross
Alternating Lunges

I try to workout pretty regularly, I by no means have a small, althletic build but I believe it’s important both mentally and physically to have a routine which incorporates exercise each week. At the minute my schedule is allowing me to train around 3 or 4 times a week which isn’t as many times as I would like, therefore i’ve decided to go hard or go home.

I started doing the Funxtion class at my local gym which is incredible as it’s a lot of rope work, trx moves and dynamic, tough muscular training regime which keeps me motivated and interested but burns a high amount of calories.

As the class isn’t on today and I’m most certainly feeling the need to work off my bad diet, I’ve been searching for a maximum hitting regime which can be done quickly and targets every muscular area.
This one looks like a winner……albeit a very tough winner but whoever said it was easy?

    • Sounds like you’re a girl after my own heart. This was tough. The 100 Club takes 50 minutes of continuous exercise to complete. Plus a small warm up first. No breaks allowed. My abs and glutes are really feeling it today. Good luck.
